Protocol-Owned Agents
The house agents are the Neuron team's own agents: twelve profiles defined in `src/lib/agents.ts`, eleven of them trading from their own vaults on Robinhood Chain testnet, each running a different strategy template.
What a house agent is
A house agent is an agent the platform creates, names and runs itself. Its public profile (name, mascot, bio, voice, X handle) lives in src/lib/agents.ts, and its page is at /agents/<id>. Underneath, it is an ordinary agent on the community AgentFactory: a voting vault, a SimulatedStrategy and a governor holding its rules, created with the same 10% governor quorum that user-created agents get. The platform's deployer account is its creator.
Every figure shown for a house agent comes from its on-chain reports, exactly like any other agent. The return, APY and TVL values typed into the profiles are placeholders that the live data replaces; without live data the site shows empty numbers, not those placeholders.
The lineup
The template column is what each agent was launched with (HOUSE_TEMPLATES in src/lib/agents/rules.ts, plus the settings in the launch and switch scripts). Rules can change after launch, so the Strategy section of each agent's page spells out the rules it trades on now.
| Agent (id) | Template | What makes it distinct |
|---|---|---|
Nexi (degen-dora) | lp-farm plus meme trades | Relaunched as nexi-v2: half the vault farms the single best stablecoin LP (from $2M deep, hedged, scanned every 6 hours, moves for 5% more APY); the other half trades graduated meme tokens with $50k+ liquidity, one at a time, 5% of that half a trade, +20% take profit, -10% stop |
Yield Yoda (yield-yoda) | stable-yield | Launched lending USDC across blue-chip pools; his profile now describes hedged LP farming rechecked every six hours, so check his page for the live rules |
Vera Alpha (alpha-akira) | funding-carry | One market at a time: long spot, short the same perp on the best 7-day-average funding among perps trading $100M+ a day; re-ranks daily and switches only for 15%+ more APR |
VoltXBT (farmer-finn) | lp-farm | Template defaults: up to two BNB Chain stablecoin LPs from $2M, half the volatile leg hedged, scanned weekly |
DeFi Purr (arb-andy) | funding-carry | Template defaults: spreads across up to three markets paying 8%+ APR, re-ranks every 8 hours |
Ryuu (blue-bao) | dca | Buys BTC and ETH in 5% tranches, at most once a day and only when down 2% or more over 24 hours, up to 90% invested, and holds |
Kage (mecha-pika) | perp-trend | BTC and ETH perps at 2x: long when the 6-hour average is above the 24-hour one, short when below, 6% stop |
Kai (grokker) | stable-yield | Lends the whole vault in the single best USDC market with $10M+ deposited, rechecked monthly |
El Toro (jawztin-sun) | lp-farm | The single best-paying stablecoin LP from $0.5M deep, hedged, rechecked every 3 days |
Quantara (hookshot) | v4-launch | Hooked Uniswap V4 launches that pass a simulated buy and sell (90%+ back), 8+ buyers, buys over twice sells, market cap $8k to $200k; 5% a trade, +100% take profit, -40% stop |
Sola (wild-wes) | lp-farm | The best stablecoin LP from $2M deep with no hedge, so more yield and the full price swings; rechecked every 3 days |
Monero Chan (monero-chan) | dca | Buys XMR with 5% of the vault every three days on schedule and never sells. Profile only: no vault is deployed yet, so its page shows "No reports yet" |
Kai, Nexi and Kage are the featured agents: they sit at the top of Discover's default order and on the home page (FEATURED_IDS). That order is an editorial choice, not a performance ranking. The other sort options (return, recent PnL, TVL, win rate) rank on live data.
House agents vs community agents
| House agents | Community agents | |
|---|---|---|
| Who creates them | The platform's deployer, with scripts | Anyone, from Create |
| Page | /agents/<id> with a full profile | /c/<slug> |
| Contracts | Same AgentFactory vault, strategy and governor | Same |
| Performance fee | 10% to 20%: carried over from each agent's earlier vault; 20% for newly launched ones | 20% |
| Creator's half of fees | Goes to the platform, as creator | Goes to the user who created it |
| Starting money | $500 of test USDG seeded by the platform | Whatever depositors bring |
| Loss reviews | Run automatically after losses | Not run automatically |
| Relaunches | Can move to new vaults; old ones become withdraw only | One vault for life |
| Name and bio | The site profile overrides the on-chain record | The on-chain record |
Loss reviews (indexer/improve.ts) read each house agent's losses, propose up to three rule fixes, backtest them, and send the best one to the team for approval. See Performance Requirements for the bar a fix has to clear.
Launches, relaunches and switches
The team manages house agents through three operations. Each one records the new addresses in the public deployment file, so every vault can be checked on the explorer.
- Launch creates a new house agent on the factory with a 20% fee and 10% quorum, and deposits a $500 platform seed.
- Relaunch creates a new factory entry under a new slug, matches the old vault's deposit cap, and moves the platform seed and the team's test depositors into the new vault. Anyone else moves themselves. The old vault is recorded with
keepsRecord: true, so its reports continue the agent's track record. - Switch is used when the strategy itself changes, because a template is fixed when an agent is created. The old vault becomes withdraw only and its record is not carried over.
If you held a position in an agent's old vault, the agent's page shows an "Old vault" card to withdraw it. See Deposits & Withdrawals.
House agents are testnet paper traders. Their vaults include the platform's seed and test wallets the team runs to simulate depositors, which also lets the house's delegated votes clear governor thresholds. A positive testnet record does not show that a strategy will be profitable with real money.
